Date Night with Mr Fashion and Frank

Me and the man always try and have at least one date a month -just him and me and we do something special.  We have been together a long time and sometimes Cosmo is right you have to put the work in!!  Glad rags on and a night out in Chelsea culminating in a bus ride home - Great night, much hilarity xxxx

This is my first ever designer dress - bought for me by the man when we had a our first big year at Alberta Ferretti in Sloane Street - half price sale - 10 years ago now.  It is an absolutely stunning evening, red carpet styley dress in its entirety but that means it wouldn't come out very often - so i dress down with denim and boyfriend jumpers sometimes with lots of jewellery or simply like Saturday night - a pair of vintage opal earrings my mum gave me, my wishbone necklace, silver celine cuff,  Chanel bag and the Dior super wedges i have worn previously - feeling feminine and glam but not overdressed - even for the bus, well maybe a bit on the bus! xx

Kate Moss : Vogue Brazil

Con el shooting de Mario Testino para Vogue Brazil, ya me queda claro, no sólo a mí, sino creo que ya a todos, que Brazil es una de las nuevas potencias, tanto en negocios, como ahora en su plano editorial. Vogue Brazil, ha logrado en poco tiempo convertirse en un punto de referencia no sólo en Latinomérica sino en el mundo y Kate Moss posando en el país tropical es prueba de ello. Abrazándo a Pelé, de rumba, junto a Rodrigo Santoro, hace como sólo ella saber hacerlo, un trabajo magnífico con el sex appeal que la ha convertido en ícono. Ojos sobre Brazil. Parece que pronto podrá tener competencia Vogue Italia.

We're in London!

Had some vouchers for Liberty burning a hole in my pocket so a little trip to the West End was 

in order and yes you are right Soleil a purchase was made!

Franky and the man found a convenient cafe, drank coffee and people watched 

which was rather handy - they both find shopping a tad tiresome! xx

1er Aniv: Vida Funky

Hoy, la revista Vida Funky celebra su primer aniversario. Ya hace un año desde que la primera edición vió la luz. En aquel primer número, Lina Holtzman, directora editorial,  nos invitaba a dejar los miedos, aventurarse, vivir en sí la vida que el nombre de la revista lleva. Un camino que fantasiosamente suena maravilloso pero que en la realidad exige mucho. Y es eso mismo lo que la revista ha mostrado a través de sus ediciones. Ahora en su última edición y con Camila en la portada tematiza "el beso", invita en su manera a ver cómo al dar más de éstos, nos llevaría a menos golpes, y en la situación en la que se encuentra el país actualmente, es justo lo que le vendría un poco mejor. Felicidades a Lina y al grupo editorial por su primer año y por más Vida Funky.

Joseph Altuzarra

Joseph Altuzarra pertenece a este nueva generación de nuevos diseñadores, entre los que se encuentran Alexander Wang, Prabal Gurung, Jason Wu, Christian Cota, Robert Geller, entre otros. Diseñadores que han tomado no sólo Nueva York (ciudad que los vió emerger) sino se han convertido ya algunos de ellos en marcas internacionales. Altuzarra es quizás menos global que Wang, pero sin duda alguien cuyos pasos han sido bien dados. Con la ayuda de Lauren Santo Domingo y Carine Roitfeld, quienes sólo sirvieron como maniquís en semanas de moda, ayudaron a Altuzarra a ponerse en el foco de los diseñadores emergentes con gran estilo y fascinación. No estudió diseño de modas, pero claramente ha sido educado en ello, nacido en París, establecido en NY, interno en Marc Jacobs y después bajo las órdenes de Riccardo Tisci, vió su pasión por la moda, inspirado en Tom Ford, en su época de glamour en Gucci.

¿Es sábado por la noche, no deberías estar metiendote cocaína? Es la segunda pregunta que le hace Rob Haskell para la revista W a Joseph. -"Las drogas me dan miedo. Honestamente esta nueva generación de diseñadores tiene una diferente perspectiva sobre comportamiento. Debemos ser buenos hombres de negocios, y el ir de fiesta no es parte de ese ideal de persona del que hablo."-

Altuzarra, un hombre que le gusta la idea de que las mujeres compren sus vestidos sólo porque piensan que es lo de hoy, y no porque en verdad les gusten. Alguien que no se considera bueno al vestir, porque pasar tiempo en pensar qué se va a poner le resta tiempo en pensar en diseñar. Alguien que prefiere no tener estilo alguno a tener un "bad style". Alguien que le cuesta ser amado pero le resulta fácil que amen sus diseños.

Dress - Acne extreme stripe from last summer - sooo iconic, celine wedges and bag (again and again!), Hat from Austria, Marni necklace, Marni gilet - last winter - lined in sheepskin - really versatile - worn to death and bought from Bluebird on the Kings Road x

The lovely Soleil at Sharp Threads wanted details of my ring - it is Solange Azagury Partridge - called the Lips Ring, it comes in a myriad of colours - blue, yellow, bright red - endless - this one is black cherry.  I thought it was pricey but loved it ( given it is silver then enamelled)  however now i have had it for a while (it was my xmas pressie of the man) i can see why.  I have banged it and dropped it - seriously clumsy girl at times and yet it is still immaculate which is amazing!
